Responsibilities
Manage and mentor the development team
Single-point of contact for the US team for requirements
gathering, delivery and status reporting
Responsible for the End-To-End Architecture and detailed design
for the application
Develops and maintains application software to established
standards and specifications
Develops application software using Java and web technologies in
a J2EE application environment
Participates in the definition of functional and technical
application requirements
Assists with the writing of program documentation, operations
documentation, and user guides in accordance with Lecorpio
standards
Develops functional and component tests based on the
requirements and conducts testing to ensure accuracy, integrity,
interoperability, and completeness of desired results
Full of energy, self-driven, self-directed and motivated
Experience
Required
Experience managing dual-shore projects (At least 2 projects
(1-2 years))
At least 5-6 years of experience in design and development of
J2EE based applications
3-4 years of experience in Java, J2EE (JSP, JDBC, JMS, JCP)
APIs, XML, XSL, Web Services (WSDL, UDDI)
BPEL, XPath
Strong ability to design using the UML artifacts. Very strong
OOA/OOD
Demonstrated experience with JBoss (and/or other Application
Servers – WebLogic, WebSphere), Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse-
Experience in using source code control systems (CVS), make,
jUnit, and Perl.
Experience of MVC2 architecture implementation (using Struts,
JSF)
Strong Unix/Linux skills including Shell Scripts
Database Schema Design and SQL coding and fine tuning
(preferably mysql or postgresql)
Experience with open source tools (Jakarta projects, jUnit,
JMeter)
Experience with iterative (XP – agile development) methodology
of web-based product development- Excellent communication,
presentation and interpersonal skills
An advanced technology degree in Computer Science or a related
field
Desired
Experience working with any workflow tool (WBI, webMethods) etc
Rules Engine (drools) Experience. Java Rule Engine API.
Experience working with EAI/ETL tools.
PMI Certification desired. |
